Help to create a study plan and a little guidance

Hi guys,
I'm planning to write civils in 2015 or 2014.Presently working in a s/w company for 2 years.

Is it possible to create the syllabus thoroughly in between.I'm able to study clearly only on Saturday and Sunday due to the work stress.

I hail from a farmers family in U.P. Luckily since we got shifted to a city and somehow i could complete engg.I can't leave the job or else it would create a financial problem.Unable to find satisfaction in this Job when our country is plagued by corruption,where even to construct a small fly- over in U.P they took over 4-5 years,credit still is very difficult to get in my village to farmers due to lack of knowledge etc.

May any one suggest plan to complete the syllabus and recommended books.I want to take History as optional.

As far as History is concerned, the first book you should go for is NCERT 6 to 12th (history) which will give you a basic idea about India and world history. Hope it helps.

I completed NCERT 6th to 10th.Going through old NCERT history books i borrowed from friends.
preparing notes from IGNOU.Is IGNOU is good,if not my effort would be wasted..Is there any other books which should be read?

I'm living in Hyd.I can't get all the materials which may be available in delhi.

I have seen some materials from their coaching center..But reading material is not my habit.I'm a bit afraid,they have so many materials and books.I'm going thru only few books..

As a matter of fact , I am facing the same problem. I am out of India right now and preparing from abroad. Internet is the best resource that I got.

Yes, IGNOU booklets are quite good , once you are done with it, you will just need to look in various books of specific topics. ( as suggested to my by a senior here ).

IMO cracking CSE is not about how many books u studied , but its about studying a few of them (standard) but religiously.

One more site - halfmantra .com has good info on indian history , you can check that out. The website is copyright protected and thus you can not download notes from this site. But its good for reference.

He he @arav_kumar2013 Comp Science is a very boring yaar...mere ko dekh lo..marks are not easy to get in university exams...
But i enjoyed only those subjects which are related to labs...
