Scored around 230 in 2013 and 2014 in sociology.How to improve my score? I am a hindi medium aspirant.scored 120 and 109 in 2014 mains.But i can study material in english also.Please suggest what to do and how to improve?other than syllabus....

Boss i am a hindi medium student. I studied NCERT once,Thinkers from IGNOU and SS Pandey socio book.scored almost same marks in both year....but i revised everything for amost 9,10 times what i studied.

Nahi yaar....socio me itne score se kuch ni hoga...even 250 se bhi nahi....we need at least 270... take example of 2014 mains...suppose we score 125 in essay,125 in ethics,65 each in p1 to 3...and 250 in socio...total=695...i think 670 was the cut off...very less chances of final selection even after scoring 250 in socio...

In this question talking about conflict we need to take both the perspective of conflict
a)Ideological conflict b)Behavioural conflcit
From here there are basically two dimension in which we can segregate the inter-caste conflict in India:
a)Pshycological dimension of conflict: which reflects the existense and perception of constant tension in politica ,social ,economoc and ritual aspect of social life between different caste. here we can deal it seperately under 4 aspects
i) social tension :it occurs due to difeerence in practice and even perception regarding various facets of soial life like temple entry ,marriage etc ii)economic tension: due to instances like demanding more wages for work,or effort to change the traditional occupation to more remunerative one etc.....elborate them further..
iii)political tension; due to exercising franchise,taking part in politics actively,voting against a particular candidate of any caste etc...
iv) ritualistic tension : here we can mention points like refusal to carry out traditional obligation to patrons ..like carrying the message of birth or death in patrons family to other village ,etc..
b) Manifest dimension of conflict :it is all about the the conflit which occurs explicitly or manifest itself in physica brawl between differnt caste and it may range from an abuse to beating ,arson, raid, and looting to murder and so on.
Here one more thing either at the beginning or at the end we can add is that all this dimension of conflict between different caste has more or less its root in progressive social change of one caste vis-a-vis other.
