“A woman can use physical violence, hit and hurt just as well as a man. That women are just weak defenseless creatures is BS enforced by thousand years of propaganda. Women just mobilize their strength differently and can use different tools. In terms of gender discrimination, the law has to recognize that women can be equal offenders when it comes to violence. "
22 year old man old raped 15 year old girl- gets 15 years in jail. 48 year old woman rapes 15 year old boy- gets probation. 15 year suspended sentence. The only rape culture that exists is the condoning of boys being raped by women.
Question please explain why you still talk about male privilege and rape culture for only female victims???? The parents of the boy asked for jail time. Judge said your boy is a male, so they give the female sex offender a low punishment
Just discuss from the context of GS Paper 4 only .
there is no law to punish women for adultery.. rape laws r not gender neutral. SC has itself said that 90% cases of dowry r fake. RV varun kumar who got AIR 3 in 2011 n is IPS was hounded on these charges . So there r some grey areas which needs to be addressed.
1. Domestic violence 2.Rape: only woman can be the victim and man can be the perpetrator. 3.Adultery (497) : only woman can be the victim and man cant. (Not sure here) 4. Age of consent: no age of consent for males. why is boy charge with rape Bill for protection of women at workplace. Only women can be sexually harassed at workplace? 5. 304B wife dies with 7 years of marriage. 6.IPC 375 doesn't protect male victims or anyone from sexual acts of penetration other than "traditional" peno-vaginal intercourse. IPC 354 lacks a statutory definition of "modesty". It carries a weak penalty and is a compoundable offence. Further, it does not protect the "modesty" of a male child. In IPC 377, the term "unnatural offences" is not defined. It only applies to victims penetrated by their attacker's sex act, and is not designed to criminalize sexual abuse of children.
When laws were given to us women the law makers just wanted us to feel protected or did they want us to be equal to men?
