I feel Preliminary exam with only GS paper is bad thing to happen, with CSAT being made qualifying exam. Exam cannot survive just on GS paper. Since ages there were 2 papers and both have been tough to crack, suddenly it had become quite easy for few and quite tougher for others to crack. This would definitely affect the quality of the candidates finally getting into the service. I feel its not sustainable for such a highly qualified service.
I am in one doubt. I was in delhi till 13th january. Then I moved back to Rampur (UP) due to some family issues. All the issues got resolved now. Now I'm in dilemma whether i should come back to Delhi for prelims preparation or should i clear by studying at my house in Rampur. After Clearing prelims then i should come to delhi ??

@tviv... True bro single paper made things very tough..too much competition. No scope for correcting the mistakes done in paper 1 by doing good in paper 2

u should come to delhi immediately.in home we tend to loose much of time in unnessary things.in delhi we feel more motivated for cse and magazines,test papers r readily available also

u should come to delhi immediately.in home we tend to loose much of time in unnessary things.in delhi we feel more motivated for cse and magazines,test papers r readily available also
I varies from person to person. If you are able to concentrate at home , then you may not have any additional so called benefit. Now you can avail varies materials , test series etc online. magazines can be availed too. Only advantage is to know the competition . but if you have been to delhi before, you already know that. so if you have a good study environment at home, i dont see any additional reason for you leaving your home

Bro there r too many ppl in delhi . Its v crowded. So stay at home for peaceful preparation.
in Delhi there is atmosphere for CSE preparation. At home a separate room with no distraction and all facilities compulsory. Even then also i won't get company of sincere aspirants.
