[Ashok Nagar] Independent Room vs Hostel ?

Hi Friends.
Unconsciously became a senior player post mains 2015 result. Gave 2 attempts and 2 mains. Failed in 2 mains.
Took optional(sociology) & Essay coaching from Vajiram and Ethics from Synergy.
Now planning to shift to ashok nagar to continue my preparation.

Need suggestion regarding stay in ashok nagar.

Should I stay in hostel(PG) and join reading halls for studying ? Or should I look out for a room ? Or should I commute from my home (10 k.m from ashok nagar) to ashok nagar daily ?

P.S: Not able to study at home

See, that boils down to your personal preferences. If you are a kind of guy who gets an extrinsic push by seeing people who are studying - go join a library. If you are better faring in a secluded environment - stick with a good room.
Why Ashok Nagar in particular, if I may ask?

Hello I have stayed in Ashok Nagar for 5+ months and it's a very very crowded and noisy place. Good rooms/flats are always booked and you may not get a room/flat of your liking.

As far as I know there is NO mess/Tiffin Center in this area. You will have to go to restaurants to eat your breakfast/lunch/dinner. Food quality is somewhat good. I have personally tasted the food of almost all restaurants of this area.

If you are looking for an environment to study, then I will highly suggest you to go to Karol Bagh Metro Station and get a room nearby. I fully agree that Karol Bagh and adjoining areas will be very costly, but believe me they are better than Ashok Nagar in every aspect.

Just my 2 cents. Rest is up to you and your budget

No specific reason as such. Couldn't concentrate home. And no library near my place

Haha. I stayed in Karol Bagh 8A block in 2015. Yeah Karol Bagh is a decent place but too costly.
Going by suggestions it seems staying at home is much better than Moving to Ashok Nagar.

Delhi is not only Karol Bagh or Ashok Nagar. You can settle in any where in West Delhi like Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar, Ramesh Nagar etc. Affordable & peaceful.

check by yourself that will be best option. I mean shift to ur home and use study rooms at ashoknagar, if ur not comfortable with commuting or study rooms then take the next step that comforts you.
