For' IAS' why 'AGMUT' is better CADRE ? (in compaarison to other state cadres)

Hey guys ! I hope many of u might have seen this query arising in your minds ! But still we take it lightly and concentrate more on prelims,mains and interview trap ! And we forget or take all nitty gritty things lightlly!

Not taking much time ! We can see all civil list and notice tht many top rankers choose agmut cadre from far flung areas ! ! I want know y so much interst in this cadre ! As agmut also includes north east states which is not good posting in agmut cadre

Is it central control directly ! Low political interfernce ! Or something extraordinary which hard to comprehend! ;-p
! Why agmut is better than haryana cadre ! Or up cadre???
For ips cadres we are much more well verse than ias cadres ! For which working style and admns is lot more in all parameteres !
I hope u will share ur views and give better light on it ! Share ur experieces ! And practical scnearios linked to it

Less political interference n recognition from central leadership to say the least..

for IAS - hadnsdown UP is the godamn no 1 cadre and should be the first choice; yes there is political interference a lot but u will be de facto king of district; facility/respect/money all will come to you u wont have to ask for it ;shortest time for being DM (i doubt over the clout of district magistract in metro like delhi )..no far flung areas of north east/lakshadeep.... and after a certain time u will be concentrated in capital lucknow/delhi(central deputation) as against routine transfer of soft/hard areas of AGMUT forever.. not to mention facility (no big houses like in UP ;no red/blue/amber beacon cars;and there are biggies in delhi so u r just a pawn)

and speaking of political interference it is now everywhere u cant escape it ; in delhi too a DM was beaten(somewhat rare to be heard in north india)

didnt AIR 1 tina dabi chooose harayna as first choice despite agmut her home state(which also means she wont be consider for AGMUT at all )...she was from delhi and must have sensed some point in not choosing AGMUT

see how the definition of entertainment change ;; some years ago it was movies and fun and now it is cadre pref. before prelim and after full day of revision ... haha

Too Bad she (AIR 1) won't be able to improve adverse child Sex Ratio of Haryana as there are only 2 posts in haryana cadre both are under ST quota.

I think we Haryanvis will have to wait for another year to get an Dynamic IAS officer who will improve Child Sex Ratio of the State.

AGMUT isnt a worthy cadre to be considered until you want a cocoon life . Best cadres are BimaRU states or other back ward states where you have real things to do . what will you do in delhi or in any other UTs where people can take care of themselves. If you really wished to serve people ,choose a under developed state . you will enjoy the service else live a another Babu metro life ,rarely anything to cherish.
ps; my one elder sister and brother are IAS .one is in my home cadre ,other is in AGMUT .one curses ,other has lots of story to tell on daily basis. choice is yours !!
