Mains DAF will be available this weekend. I have been preparing for civils for 4 years now and my actual/college days hobbies and interests have taken a back seat.
1. Should I keep my old hobbies on daf, considering I have not been following up presently
2. Are there any safe /generic hobbies that could be written as fillers? Is it advisable to use this strategy.
3. As per Gaurav Agarwals strategy, one should double down on hobbies related to optional to direct the interview towards a particular and comfortable direction. Has anyone tried and succeded in interview with such strategy.
4. Any other advice by those with good interview scores on hobbies and interests, please share.

1. A friend of mine got IRS-C&CE (2015)
She was working with M/o Power and has always been into sports - Badminton, Tennis, Squash.
Working + Preparing for CSE (self-study), I am sure it would just have been weekends that she would pack her rackets and play a couple of games

2. Ghazal Bharadwaj (AIR - 40, CSE 2015)
She was into poetry and blogging. She even mentioned Blogging under her hobby in her DAF
Interview Score = 206
What I want to point out from the two examples is that you 'might' not be into your hobby as much as compared to your college, but then whatever you write, make sure that your are following it regularly, thorough with all the dimensions as to what may come up at the interview.
Hobbies I feel is to show the various dimensions / personality traits of a person. You have it or you don't
