Vajiram Mains 2013 Updated Course New Batch

Hi all,

Vajiram is starting a new batch for Mains 2013. Kindly give your reviews about their current batch. Is it advisable to join or will I be fine with procuring their notes?
As the classes are for 5 hours daily will it be a good trade-off?

Thank You.

  • Its not a wise decision. Its even less than 3 months left.
The only thing we aspirants can do is to revise whatever we have done and side by side doing new portions ourselves rather go for crash course.
5 hrs classes is huge. How much can a normal person concentrate ? 2 hrs max in the class.
  • If you can get hold of all the notes, nothing like it.
Supplement them with yellow books and a few very important notes like ALS Security notes etc. which one can easily get from Rajendra Nagar Xerox shops.

The only good thing about the classes is the people you meet and the group you become a part of.
I was at my home town for the last few months, really needed to change the environment that's why I joined and it's kind of working for me. If you can have people around you who are focused in a way you want your group to be then there's no point joining. Be at home and work hard.

    P.S. - Currently I am a Vajiram student.
  • @Shkk Can you please enlighten us as to how Vajiram is turning up to this new syllabus course.
Mostly I've heard bad reviews about Vajiram mains course. I got to know that they recruited many new teachers for this course who are not good. Also how is the history teacher? When are they gonna finish with it? 10 wks are almost over.
I did my pre cum mains at Vaji last to last year, had almost joined this updated new batch but had to drop my plan at the last moment because of family reasons. Now things aren't looking really bright at home so I'm planning to join this course, although 5 hrs class daily would be a hectic affair but nonetheless it would help me get back on the track. I'll appreciate your little help here.

    Thanks
  • @drgarg -
I joined midway (in July). I was to join Sriram but happened to attend one Vaji class (for free :p).
    It was World History's class.
First I was attending any class after such a long time and second this guy is supposedly the best faculty at Vaji, I thoroughly loved it. And enrolled at Vaji's.
I am not sure if teachers are new or old but they are not naive. They know what they are teaching.
Though I am not very fond of attending classes, many a times I go there only to listen them out.
But 5 hours everyday is physically testing. But then it's only for one and a half months, so it could be seen as do-able.
  • hi,

about v&r postal coaching, is the material good? has it been revised and does it include the yellow books?

    thanks
  • hi,
any idea about gs 4 paper?
  • So did anybody joined the course today?
    I did.
  • Vajiram is a fraud. You will waste 1 lakh and above all one precious year. Instead give 1 lakh to charity , purchase all the notes from xerox shops including that of vajiram and ravi. Prepare yourself. In that way atleast you will save one precious year.

  • ^^ in another thread you said your friend is taking coaching....here saying u are a student.
Why dont you tell people that you are none other than vaji's marketing team itself :D :p
