Dear Friends,
i have very poor academic background specially English Language, throughout second division from beginning to end. i am hard core rural Hindi medium student but my Hindi handwriting is also worst than English so it is inevitable to me to go with English only. Also i left writing work/practice since 2011 due to some reasons. Now these are some weakness what i am facing in course of main(Conventional) exam preparation:
1.Poor English
2.Poor Grammar,
3.Spelling Mistakes often,
4.Poor hand writing,
5.Slow writing speed,
6.unable to formulate answer structure in mind during answer writing.
kindly provide your valuable suggestions to overcome my weakness considering the fact that 2017 will be my only attempt for UPSC.
Thanks in Advance..

Rest for improving English, best source is The Hindu Daily!
Make a list of around 500 to 1000 popular phrases and try to find out about their usage, apply them in practice. Read various books and newspapers, see how they construct sentences.
2. Buy a grammar book, get back to basics, there's no shortcut to it, learn the rules of language, it will help you choose when and where, what to use.
3. Spelling mistakes for words you come across for the first time is natural, everyone makes it but for common words, for which you know the spelling but still make mistakes, it is due to loss of concentration while writing, try to improve that. Whenever you are writing something, try to read that in your mind while writing, will help you to avoid mistakes.
4. Poor hand writing - If its legible, then dont worry, if its not then work on it. Buy cursive writing books and start practicing, again no shortcuts for basics.
5. Slow writing speed - This can be improved, again, only with practice. Write lots and lots and your hard work will reap benefits.
6. Always think before you write. Think from various point of views, if possible read about the subject before writing. Follow a simple approach,
Introduction - explain the important terms in the question.
Body - Analysis as per the demand of the question by linking those important terms.
Conclusion - General and your personal opinion.
You wont get it right the first time you write, it needs practice, every good thing you see is a result of practice.
Kuch tippaniyan mere taraf se:
1. English newspapers padte hain to English jiski samjh aaye pehle usi se start karen - like Times of India ya Indian Express, wo the Hindu ki rhetoric thodi uljhane wali hoti hai
2. Editorials pe focus karein - kaise author apne views ko pen down karta raha hai
3. Phir usi editorial ka apne words me summary taiyyar karein
4. 4-5 word authors se chori kar lein
5. Grammar problem hai to Word Power Made Easy aur Wren and Martin pad len ek baar pehle. Wren and Martin ki key khareed kar practice karein. Sare chapters nahi padne, apko khud decide karna hoga which exercises to solve
6. Duolingo me ek English course join karein
7. Vocab building ke liye bahot sare online sources hain unka use karein - zyada hifi words to nahi yaad karne hai, simple wale hi yaad karein
8. Newspapers ke reader comments section, Quora, Toppers ke blog ityadi se thoda inference nikalen ki ye log kaise present karte hain apne arguments
9. CST ya Frontline pad sakte hon to paden, usme se essays kaise likhte hain ye pata chalta hai
10. Practice consistently - 1-2 hours daily - sab ho jayega
Baki sab to bhagwan ki kripa hai
Bhai ,apki "ganwar" ki definition kya h yha p .
Well it's your personal opinion to think them as ganwar ,just because someone is from a different background ,but atleast he is good at what he does.
