Some of the candidates had got a refund (during filling DAF) of Rs 200. UPSC said that it will contact the candidates later. Has anyone been contacted yet? Asking this because Mains 2016 result is round the corner.
For some candidates, amount got deducted again automatically. For me it didn't happen. But I got an acknowledgement from them when I sent an email on this issue.
Even I got the message that my Application was accepted but the amount was not deducted again. I did call them. They said that I should focus on Mains Preparation The money can be taken care of later.

True brother, Rs 200 may not be a big amount for either one of us but it is not the case for everyone. In a country where crores struggle to make their ends meet, it is a big amount (and as UPSC aspirants we should keep that in mind). And as far as UPSC goes, it is a truly professional organisation. Will not let even a single penny go unnoticed. Guess they will ask after the result. Just wanted to make sure that I was not missing out on the feed. Good to know that I am not the only one. Time to focus on things that really matter right now
