Hi guys.
I recently saw a vacancy by UPSC for youth officer whose essential qualification is a master's degree and 2 years youth related work in either NSS or NCC.

My question is
I have volunteered for NSS for two years while in college and did 240 hours of service over two years.
I have also done NCC for one year including camping and getting their B certificate.

I have all the proper certificates for all these things.

But the problem is I did all this in college, not after college. So will they still count?
Should I fill this form?? Will they debar me from all the other exams, if they later say it's only meant for after college activities??

Erm, why would they debar you.

Go ahead and apply, let them say no.

The posts are permanent, General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Look up their service by laws, if they allow taking exams at parallel etc.

I have the same doubt. I was a cadet and finally got C certificate but the notice says "experience in organizing events related to NCC and NSS". So i am confused whether being a part of NCC or NSS would be equivalent to "experience in organizing events related to NCC and NSS" or not.

Though i have filled up the form stating clearly about this fact. Let's see whether UPSC rejects or accepts my application.

experience mein kya maang rahe hain... this nss/ncc thing only in the form??? kon kon sa document upload karna hai?

Apna B certificate upload kar do .. baki 10th ki marksheet ... Graduation and post graduation degree .. sab ka ek pdf bana k upload karna hai

Camp ka certificate bhi upload kar dena ... So as to show 2 year experience

maine 2 saal nss mein bhi volunteer kiya hai... ncc mein bas ek saal along with the camp.... lekin ye toh experience waale section mein patan nai kya kya und-shand pucch rahe hain,,, position, salary etc etc..... volunteer and cadet likh du????

Actually ye saalo ne normal format dal k rKha hai experience ka ... NCC k liye organisation ministry of defence dal do ... Pay me 0 kar dena ... Nature of duty me Cadet at NCC dal dena ... Maine to aise hi bhara hai form
