Friends I have given the interview in UPSC.l am looking forward to take up teaching as well. I will also prepare for 2018. What are the options and their pro and cons. 1 teaching at IAS coaching 2 at SSC coaching 3 home tuition for school children Can an experienced person also tell the pay structure in these areas and the problems which one may encounter

I think copy checking at vision ias is the best you can get right now by showing your mains marksheet and the best thing is it fixed per copy .

just do one thing attach your marksheet and mail to hr vision and also call after some time . you can directly go and meet also after first 2 steps. you will get job within week as it is opportune time..
I used to tutor school kids during my btech days, and it pays relatively well if you are good at explaining things. Of course the pay depends on your location and what subjects you choose.
If you take on smaller kids, you will have to have larger class sizes but less headache. Mostly the parents expect you to babysit them for a couple of hours, help them do their hw and revise before exams. But their school teachers are on to that scam. Only problem is it depends on your patience level, kids can be a pain on some days.
High school kids are a touch bunch to deal with, but the science subjects pay well. Discipline is definitely an issue. Cell phones and budding evol stories. Parents will be quick to blame the teacher on not keeping an eagle eye on kids having their little love stories. Assuming you are a guy, if you have girls in your group, at least 2 arm distance. Don't smile too much, don't be too kind. The kids don't care, the gossipy aunties and mommies read way too much into normal gestures.
