Does the IGNOU BA Material (ESO 11,12,13,14,15,16) have to be read in its entirety, or there are booklets/sections that can be skipped. I am a newbie here and trying to basically keep the reading list short and concise. Any help is appreciated.

Also, I was reading one blog post on forumIAS where one topper(sorry I can't remember the name) has talked about an exercise of sorting the IGNOU booklets by topics mentioned in the syllabus. Has anybody done it, and willing to share ?
