  • @Lion_King - Its not possible to maintain such coverage in all papers for 2500 Candidates !
  • Mob violence is the collective use of violence by a large number of people to get their demands fulfilled or to react against unfavourable actions of other parties.

    Causes:

    1. Political causes: Mobilizing one community for political gains e.g Jats and Patidar demands
    2. Economical: Economic disparity creating discontent e.g. Workers riot in Maruti factory Gurugram
    3. Religious: Religious sentiments hurt by other community e.g. Anti-beef lynchings
    4. Leadership: provoking mob for personal gains e.g Recent riots in Haryana allegedly on directions of a godman
    5. Foreign support: Riots in J and K supported by Pakistan
    6. Psychological reason: Lack of responsibility in citizens for public property, mob psychology- diffused responsibility
    7. Legal reasons: Diffcult to hold persons accountable in case of mob action
    8. Social reason: Mobilization on the basis of caste identities e.g. Muzaffarnagar riots
    9. Poor state capability to handle mob violence

    Impact:
    1. Loss of life, property etc.
    2. Ghettoization of communities, fear mongering
    3. Social impact: Prejudices and trust deficit
    4. Political impact: Mobilization of people on the basis of communal identiy, less importance to other important issues
    5. Economic impact: Industries move away from violent regions, payment of compensations
    6. Decrease in credibility of police and state

If there exist 2500 others who have maintained this level of coverage in every papers, I know my result already!! :dizzy:
1250 guys, not 2500 for general..

    :-(
  • I misread mob violence as mob lynching and wrote only 4-5 causes and examples - communal riots, assam rape accused lynching, akhlaq, perceived ineffectiveness of police - broken window syndrome etc. Impact mein the usual points.
I hope 8 ki jagah 6 number de par zyaada naa kaate. :disappointed:
