That's way too much for some non-metal to be used as showpiece! Aside, I could never understand the magnetic pull between la belle and jewellery. Doesn't it hurt to hang those massive earrings on those tiny pinnae? Ouch!
No It doesn't. Being an Indian , you must know that jewellery is an essential part of this land since pre historic times. You can see those burials where skeletons with jewellery have been found at Mehrgarh, Inamganon etc.
Just look at those beautiful tribals of NE, look at our ceremonies, and even in daily life, Jewellery/gold/silver/Diamond/Stones/Pearls/platinum/Rhodium/glass/flower jewelley makes we Indian women unique from boring rest of the world.
Even biggies like Chanda Kochhaar, Arundhati Bhattacharya, saumya swaminathan, Sushma Swaraj and next me- we do our work nicely, we all are modern but there is something classic about us. Thank u.
