Exactly. There is a great dichotomy here for PSC and UPSC aspirants.

even i didnt go at the last moment, CG related kuch padha nai tha, looks like opportunity missed as majority junta went for mppsc...
Arey I am from CG only,mai yahi deta. Plus MP PSC often does partiality with CG aspirants. First hand experience.

Lagta hain aapne jharkhand ka mains syllabus nahibdekha. Usne everything under the sun ko zyaada hinsefiously le liya. Ek baar dekhe zaroor new mains syllabus
bhai CG mein philosophy,pub ad, socio, bio, phy,chem etc etc itna diverse syllabus hai ki you can never score good in mains, 1 mein achha kroge, dusre m khrab krke aaoge..last m interview decider hoga jaha outsiders ki watt lgegi..kyuki tm aise mains m kbi bhi lead nahi le skte...JH ka deka hai maine, only literature subject and JH specific is extra...
Jharkhand main yebsab to hain hi. Plus questions 40-50% core jharkhand ke aate hain
bhai core jharkhand is not tough..ek manish ranjan ki book hai jo puri junta padhti hai..usse bahar kuch nai aata kisi ko.. like @Beuce said, CGPSC ko sach mein drastically reform krna chahiye kyuki its almost impossible to prepare for it. pta nai aisa syllabus kaise taiyaar kiya...even JPSC has introduced local adivasi language papers...I wonder what they discuss in annual civil service conferences..the chairmen of these commissions need to take note of upsc pattern.
Haan bhai,mai socha tha du iss saal and form bhi bhara tha but aise toh kuch nahi padha..lekin mains ka syllabus toh itna zyada vast hai ki aap usko sath me kisi exam ke kar hi nahi sakte. The people i know who have been preparing specifiically for CGPSC don’t give a F*** to UPSC,coz they know padh hi nahi paenge. Jabki baki har jaghe civil service matlab union do chahe state,yahan alag scene hai. P.S My Relative is Rank one holder of CG PSC,and he could start only after exhausting his UPSC attempts and giving interview twice.
Was he preparing full-time?
Yes Sir Kindof. I asked him the details in 2015 last when I begun preparing and he told ki UpSC ho toh thik,nahi toh ye bhi koi bura nahi hai. After exhausting all attempts he focused on PSC coz his dad forced him to.

Bhai mai CG ka hu,shuru se yahi raha..lekin language ka mujhe bhi zero idea,tribal belt me generally boli jati language,semi urban and urban area me kum use hai. I think ab zarur change karna chaiye CG walo ko pattern aaj toh UP walo ne bhi kar diya

I need to secure one job(some reason) so I am targeting upsc capf ac this year(hopefully I think I will make it)..
My native state is Bihar..is it wise to go for state psc after capf ?? Or after capf upsc all in will be good?and Bihar walo ka Kya sceane Hai state psc me?

CAPF is not conducive for the preparation. If your ultimate aim is UPSC, best bet would be RBI Grade B exam....fixed working hours, weekend off, no targets etc.....You can easily prepare there. Also, peer group there will be one of the best. In state civil services, certain posts like CTO, Assistant Commissioner Commercial Tax, Accounts and Treasury officer....these are good for the preparation....so prepare accordingly.
