    B.

My guess is paper will be of 2015/2016 pattern.. Kyunki Last year UPSC ne bahut Conceptual pooch liya toh bachhe Supreme Court chale gaye the.. Isliye I don't think ki is saal UPSC aisa koi Legal battle mein ulajhna chahegi..

So very high probability is that this year we will be having a Factual based paper ( Just like of 2015 and 2016)

    Cut off will get skyrocketed.
  • A.I guess geography will have more q this year as it has been on lower side since 2013..just a guess
  • expect more down to earth question , current would be dominated by govt scheme minute details
  • 2014 like paper with dominant static portion but of difficult nature.

    Yeah. High probability.

Gautam Buddha relation with Avanti Janpad. Sustainable Sugarcane initiative. Budding Grafting and Cytoplasmic Male Sterility. Vegetative Propagation. Changpa Tribes. Brominated Flame Retardants... These type of questions may again dominate this year's Paper.

    ....................
  • Not many schemes launched nor important bilateral or multilateral summits have happened neither new treaties pertaining to climate change.

It will be game of basics this time. Indian geography & modern india may play a game changer.

those endangered species ,national parks and sanctuaries will be back on the paper.

  • Geo n art n culture could dominate as from the former, v few questions were being asked. N last year, no questions were asked on art n culture. Also, medieval could give sm surprises. Baaki it could be 50% static n 50% current
    Let's see. Fingers crossed!

I support your reasoning... section breakup koi guess nahi kar sakta. But get prepared for straight forward questions with single answer. straight forward questions do not mean easy questions.
#cut off not less than 120

Haan bilkul. Sectionwise Break up toh bata paana zara mushkil hai.

Par aapki baat bahut hadd tak sahi hai ki Seedhe seedhe questions aayenge factual, par ekdam tough.
