Note making and comprehensive preparation of CSE Mains

edited May 2018 in Preparation FAQs
Picture is almost crystal clear for Prelims; NCERT, Laxmikant, Rajiv Ahir, Current and rest is all about discipline and revision.

Even interview preparation seems to be relying a lot on the DAF and current.

But the to do list for a holistic preparation of mains (the four GS papers only) is something I am unable to find.

How can one, who has not got the exposure of a coaching or Delhi, go about completely preparing these 4 papers in one years time?
Which websites or other online sources can be strictly adhered to?
How to make notes amalgamating with the current stuff? Should it be according to the topics in syllabus ?

@Neyawn @DrKingSchultz @nandini @Yo_Yo_Choti_Singh
Could you (or others) please provide your inputs as I am appearing for 2019 and am very anxious.

Thanks in advance.

  • Bhai bhai.. crystal clear picture for Prelims. Tell this to someone giving Pre in a month's time.

Coming to your question.. yes, prepare comprehensive notes bases on topics in syallabus.
To do list for Mains has optional at the top. Nail it first.
Then move on to GS 4 answer writing. Also, write some good number of essays and get them evaluated.
As you know, GS 1 is more static so like prelims, picture might be cryatal clear for you.
Gs 2 and GS3 preparation has to follow a dynamic model of current issues based on core.
  • I'll bookmark this thread for the 4th of june.

Thanks but crystal clear se I meant the sources, not that I am fully prepared for Prelims. I am not even appearing this year.
(See how pathetic I am in conveying my thoughts :/ ispe b work karna hai for Mains)
