wanted to know are notes/books given by various institutes in delhi for various GS papers enough to score good in these GS papers or do i still need to refer to various NCERTs and refrence books to prepare for these GS papers ? is it necessary to read books other than the coaching material ?
The way you have put your query shows you are a starter in this ocean of UPSC waters (muddy before you succeed).
For the starters it is suggested to get mentorship from somewhere. Read NCERTs first, that means do your basics and then somehow get a mentor who will guide you.

thank you all, i asked this question because the main difficulty i am facing is how to prepare notes because you have to read from many sources.As the institutes provide you the printed notes it is quite easy to stick to it and revise again and again from it. so according to the dicussions sticking to books would be great idea. right ?

Reading books will be a great idea. Baaki yaha sahi info nahi milega bhai.. everyone is jealous. Plz ask on quora for authentic and intellectual guidance.

kya dinn aa gye hai forum k , idr ki info ko b authentic ni mante log . anyways there is not much info to give , koi multiple sources ni hai ( ncerts + news paper plus 1-2 aur books are enough)
