single Room in mukherjee nagar vs room in orn for the budget of 8000 to 9000 for a girl? wrt locality. amenities etc. what can i expect to find when i come to delhi by this month end? where should i go and look.. and if not these two places then where nearby can i get a place .... ? .

Rooms in Mukherjee Nagar are rented out at cheaper rates compared to ORN. Your choice among the two depends upon the coaching institute you are planning to join. Vajiram does not have a branch in MN. So if you are planning to join Vajiram, ORN is the place to stay. I've stayed in ORN and I find it pretty decent. Finding a cook, maid etc., will not be a big problem here. And at Kumar Book Centre, you can virtually find every goddamn coaching material there is.
what can i expect to find when i come to delhi by this month end?
Expect bone chilling cold in the month of January.

Check out the notice boards of Vajiram and Sriram. Many girl students put up notices regarding room availablility. As many students must be vacating now after the Mains, there is a high possibility of finding a good room while avoiding brokerage. If you fail to find one, contact any properties outlet. Nearby places for UPSC aspirants include Patel Nagar and Shadipur but yor your budget, you can stay assured of getting a room in ORN itself.
