Fellow aspirants, if any of you have read the new one (2018 edition), please tell me if it is necessary to read the new book or the old edition(2016) would suffice. Thank you.

Isiliye behtar yahi hai ki Jitna zydaa se zyada cover kiya ja Sakta hai utna cover kar Liya jaaye...
New edition thik hai mere khayal se toh.
Baaki agar Optional history hai toh koi zaroorat Nahi fir New edition padhne ki

New edition has some 400+ more pages and covers post independence topics too. Going by the upsc questions I guess new one should be purchased. 2016 edition content is too miniscule w.r.t. it
