Changed optional from geo to philosophy.Plzz guide

Hi friends,
I m planning to give next attempt with philosophy optional.I hv performed dismally in geography and i feel its not my ball game.Philosophy is something that i have always read out of interest and I feel this time i should follow my heart rather than logic. Philosophy is not an easier optional and it is tough scoring here.But, still i want to take a plunge.
Experienced players plzz help me with valuable inputs,....dos n donts, etc.

I am not trying to demoralise you but i just hope that you have given enough thought to the fact that the time left from now on remains adequate for a new optional..

You can also consider geology if it suits you.

I have also failed two mains with geography but I don't think going for philosophy is wise. May be next year philosophy will be butchered and geography will do fine. Plus, if you decide to go for alternates, the questions in state pcs from Optional are fairly straightforward and you don't need to do much there .
