i dont fulfill the criteria of municipal land area under ews category.. it is under my fathers name as of now. but if i get it partitioned between my brothers. then i will fulfill.. i am bit confused whether this will work or not.. anybody here who has any idea about this?
Bhai Mera bhi yhi case hai bilkul...but hamara Ghar toh na hi mere Papa k nam hai..Gav m Kabhi phle ke hi nam hai...issilye Mera toh decide hi nhi hai ki kha p property inherited manni Jaye... issilye mein toh Bhar hi Sakta Hu na...Apne nam k according toh 200sq yard se km hi aayegi Gav m toh...reply if I m right
I went to sdm office. They said income and assets certificate nahi bann rahe h abhi unke office me koi notification nahi aayi iss baare me. Then i called UPSC, they said time lagega implementation me tabhi 1 august 2019 tak ka time mila h to get your certificate. But I'm still confused as to opt for ews or not. Kya pata august tak bhi implement naa ho?
Same case. Even in my home state, there is no clarity about the income and assets certificate. If we apply EWS and don't get certificate by August, can we change category or our candidature will get cancelled ?
Augusr mein non ews kardena tum agar prelims gen se clear hai then do not worry u will have right to appear for 40% seats. lekin august mein non ews is important becuase is ke baad u cant change category. Agar ausgust tak ban gaya then apply ews if not then non ews . unless u dont clear gen cutoff u will be allowed to appear for mains even if u dont have ews certificate. U will be treated as gen

What's the common opinion on this. If someone is unable to submit certificate for EWS, when required, for any reason, will the application be cancelled or He/She will continue in General category, provided clearing General Cut-off in Prelims.
Did UPSC really say so? As per my experience, it's unlikely that the form will be cancelled.
I called them 3 times and they gave same answer... can u also confirm ?
I have also contacted Upsc 2,3 times. They told if we are applying as EWS and not submitting the certificate at the time of filling DAF, we won't be considered as general even if we have cleared with Gen cut off but application will be cancelled and won't be able to write mains.

Bhai aesa kuch ni hoga......... I went to sdm office and those guys r not even aware of the procedure .....and ews is vaguely worded so I dun think candidature will be cancelled otherwise upsc ko exam postpone karna chahiye and applicants should be given more time to get the certificate before applying

I think some states have already notified EWS. So, can anyone tell me if it's possible to avail EWS by transferring land rights to someone else in order to get into the ambit? People here have been trying to do this. I just want to know, how many past years' land holding they are checking before providing EWS certificate?
Hello everyone. I needed your help. I am a married male working in a Level 8 (7th CPC) job with the Govt and have an annual salary less than 8 lakhs. I am not dependent on my parents. My wife is not working. My father owns a flat having area greater than 1000 sq ft but I personally don't own any property and neither does my wife. Am I eligible for EWS Benefits? Thanks in advance.
