Dear all, we have seen in past few days how students right have been ignored first to create a new forum with mobile number verification and very subtly shutting down this independent forum to ensure that student community chooses between two platforms - one by a Delhi based coaching and another by an online mock test series.
To counter it all, I need your support I’m creating a truly student movement based forum for all.
On one hand we are being asked to share our mobile number by one academy and on another we are being asked to share our email by another mock test series.
We need none of them but only our independent platform.
I need your support in starting this. I will unveil my platform very soon that will be better than all these offline guidance and online mock series.
ForumIAS I know you will delete this thread and I challenge you to keep this thread live if you are truly not planning to have a monopoly by creating two platforms - both run by coaching institutes - online and offline.

I am not going to comment about forum because I am not related to it, but I am answering this because you have put some allegations against me.
Fact 1: if I people don't enter emails, how are they supposed to login to any platform. If your platform will work without emails, please let me know, I too will join
Fact 2: test series login and forum login are entirely separate and not even closely related. Go check it out yourself.
Fact 3: I got gagged on quest for having a signature with telegram link which posts free questions. I felt bad and thought I should have my own place and created a forum in straight 6 hours. I did this because I don't want to gagged again and I will no longer be coming here, I will have my own place to interact with people. Would you please go on quest and see the thread I created?
PS, I don't know what's your issue but you have been targeting me for no reason. You did it in the past too.
If you really want to help students, then stop making baseless and alleging threads and instead act upon your ideas.

This is the problem with our society. Work karna hai nahi but jealous bilkul hona hai. There's no concept of ethics and healthy competition.
All I am trying to do is reduce costs of the test series and also make people study textbooks instead of answering random 100 questions and you have a problem with that. If you have a problem with that then I don't know what to say to you.
The day you make a better forum than hub (all the privacy and democratic features) and the day you make test series which are either for free or priced lesser than what I offer. I promise you, I shall close down my website and support you. You can note down this comment.

My friend who had created an app was banned by forum people immediately when he posted a link here but somehow I have seen forum silently promoting you . Why your test series posts and links are not deleted. Is it not according to the policy of the forum? Why selective treatment?

You have already taken undue advantage of this homeless situation of us aspirants and created a hub. Today it is separate login, tomorrow it will be getting email from iasmocks about test series launch etc to serve your commercial intetests.
And frankly don’t even talk about price of your test series . True it is proved less but you are not providing anything . I know some forum friends who took your test series and you are not even providing detailed solution in your test series . This information is not disclosed before buying but is is at the end of faq section last question. Now only after joining your test series people realise that all packages are having answer key but no solution. Page number of source is not enough. Then you will say you are doing cheapest test series. Cheaper than this toh there are many Coachings in Delhi and Chandigarh who at least provide either solution or discussion. And oliveboard is providing better questions answers at cheaper rate.
Sir I don’t have anything against you. It is just that I see forum having some vested interest in you and silently promoting you so that it is both no 1 and no 2 in forum business.
PS I will soon launch my student friendly forum which will never have ads and will never become another coaching in the garb of helping students.
2. Forum has supported such initiatives in the past for users who have been the part of community and have contributed to it. Example, sleepy classes.
3. If your friend comes and spams his app on day one without Contributing anything for years, it will obviously be taken down.
4. Go visit my thread on quest, forum gagged me and edited my signature because of which I created a separate platform for myself.
5. Is it my fault if people don't read FAQs fully? No body offers refund in test series. I have offered it for 7 days and have duly refunded anyone who dint want to continue. I even sent reminders to people reminding them the deadline for refund. Give me one example of who does This.
And yes, I will still offer refund to your so called friends who don't have the courage to ask refund but to talk false things behind the baCk. Ask them to contact me, I don't need anyone's money. I believe in ethics. I will refund it even if they have used up all the test series.
6. Have you even solved test series? You want me to post the same thing from book as solutions and make a bulky document and then charge 10k for that? Why can't I be different and just offer page numbers. That way they will read from authentic sources rather than half cooked solutions which are absolutely waste of time.
7. Stop being jealous and go make one test. You will understand that pain of making 6000 MCQs. Pehle kaam karo phir baat karo.
8. Please go ahead and do free initiatives. Let me see how you sustain it. Maybe you are rich and have the money to do it. I come from a humble family background and I have to earn every single rupee to survive.
9. I launched 15 courses few days ago, and not a single student from igp or cs pts was notified about it even though I have their email and mobile number. Ethics naam ki cheez na, it is inborn, it comes with how you grow up. It doesn't come because you make allegations. How can you accuse me of using emails to promote courses when I have not even done it once. And for God's sake go Google the meaning of commercial before even associating that with me.
10. I am doing this because I have personal financial problems, I am working day and night without sleep to earn every single rupee. Why? Not because I want to party like you delhi lads. My mom never stayed in her own house through out her life. I wanted to buy her a small abode. So that she gets to live in her own house. You guys won't understand the pain of working hard bro, you will know it when survival is at stake. May the almighty never put you in such a situation.
If you still want to be adamant, go ahead man. I have seen enough haters in life. I know how to work hard and i will keep doing it irrespective of what you say.
PS, you still dint answer my questions, you just know to make false and malicious allegations with only intention of fulfilling your jealousy or I dont know what to call it.
Now for once answer my questions too,
1. How will your student friendly platform work? Will it collect emails or not. If it does, are you not a hypocrite?
If it doesn't, please let me know about this revolutionary platform so that I can also use the same.
2. How are you planning to run your ad free platform? The hosting requires payment in lakhs. Either you are rich or have sponsors(business interests) or have no idea about how things work and are trying to misguide people.
3. What is the guarantee that you will not use data of your student friendly platform to serve your future commercial interests? Why should people trust you when you have not even proved your credibility? How does it feel when I ask this same question to you?
Before even asking me anything. Try answering the above three. Your intentions will be out in open.
You want to run an ad free platform for students right?
The hub is ready made with all features. You can use it. I will give it for free to you.
Before that,
1. Buy a domain name, privacy, SSL certificate. Pay a few thousand rupees first thing tomorrow morning and come with the receipt here. Once you produce the receipt I will transfer the hub to your domain free of cost so that you can run your noble student friendly and ad free platform.
2. You will need to make yearly payment for a hosting plan. Considering your noble initiative, many people will join it. Let's assume a minimum of 1 million page views per month. For this you will need to pay approximately minimum 2 lakh rupees. You can message me, I will provide you the link to buy it and once that happens everyone will know that you truly want build an ad free platform.
You will be the owner of the forum from tomorrow itself. Why wait a few more days. Noble things should start as soon as possible.
3. You will have mention in the terms and conditions of your site that if you are found using user data for future commercial interests, then users can sue you and claim compensation and you will not defend yourself in the court of law.

There are 12 igp students who couldn't afford fees and they are a part of it free of cost. That is worth 60 thousand rupees. Has anyone who has launched a test series so far for the first time done it?

If you want to do something you do something , no one is stopping you. No one is forcing you to join any platform.
Students want a friendly platform with minimal idiotic elements. That is all.
I see today everyone want to create a new forum for students. Your are most welcome. Please create one, unveil it if you already have made it. Don't ask for email id, or anything. Enjoy the democracy there. Also @pizzza bhai has already offered you a helping hand.
Let's us all understand that forum didn't ask anyone to come here. All are here because of their will, you don't like it leave it. Forum doesn't owe anything to anyone. They are free to conduct themselves the way they want. There is no point creating an account, agreeing to forum posting rules and then criticising it. You want something better, create one.

Answers to Allegations:
1: He has answered it already. He has no relation what-so-ever with the forum. The forum allowed it because he is an active member of the forum with many positive/important contribution. If you knew even a little bit of background story behind IGP and The Hub, you will not level such allegation.
2: This selective treatment is definitely not which we expect from the forum. But the reason is point 1. IF Your friend had been an important member of the forum then his App Adventure would have got the same treatment as IGP. But if you are using the forum only for your gain and in return do not provide any worthy content then I think you have no right to ask for equity. The case of IGP is a simple case of reciprocity. He contributed a lot and in return, IGP was allowed for a short duration. It was an unwritten understanding. That's how reciprocity works. That's how people joined IGP - because of trust.
3: I don't think anyone has any issues with providing e-mail ID for registration. Registration gives a feeling of belongingness. Which then motivates you to contribute positively to the community. A community will grow due to its members' contribution and not because of some Hanky-Panky GUI. The forum grew because of members participation. The problem comes with mobile number + OTP, which is an essential feature of Quest. In this age of Right to Privacy, it is not acceptable if it's forced.
4: Sole purpose of IGP was to read basic books multiple times. The Qs in IGP are from standard books. It was to inculcate discipline. Any test series is for inculcating discipline. Second, comes the art of problem-solving. Without discipline, problem-solving loses its foundation. So, it was intentional not to include detailed answers for every Qs because everything is given in the book. Now, this will make you habitual in reading the books multiple times instead of relying on Qs and Answers on test pdf.
IGP also takes the suggestion on a regular basis, if one feels certain sections of a particular subject demands a detailed explanation, it can be provided.
But the best thing is, for every doubtful Qs, test takers can discuss it on the platform ( telegram, now The Hub), I think people liked it much better than reading boring pdfs.
5. Please read point 1 and 2 again. You don't even know half of the story. With partial knowledge, If you were in the military, you would be dead by now in a military operation along with your plan. But what is more worrisome is, if this continues, as a DM it ll be a disaster for your district.
PS: Do visit the hub. It's just a beginning. It ll grow with time. Whatever issues you find in Hub, you can share those here on the forum and on hub too.

First of all, I thank you for tagging me (I am not mota bhai who feel offended by this). I thank you for showing a little respect and having an expectation that I would reply. Though pizzza has already responded to your post, he had to do it as it was indirectly involving IASmocks. I don’t have that kind of compulsion to reply or defend pizzza and his IASmocks.
You seem to be so concerned about rights of students being curbed, fair enough ! But tell me one thing, where were you when I was raising various issues regarding quest registering with forum academy ? When I raised forum products being highly priced? I was silenced or gagged just like that. It felt forum did not care for its community members, It felt disheartening to see my voice being silenced by Mota bhai, his vague logics, bragging about his journey which had no relation to my questions. Nobody came to support me on the thread, It was indeed painful. I had to say goodbye to forum. Why didn’t you support me brother if your intention is to raise issues impacting student community? I will understand if you by chance miss those comments.
Now coming to your question regarding the creation of hub as an alternative to forum discuss. Well let me tell you one thing, forum users who subscribed to IASmocks’s IGP were the one who suggested to come up with an alternate platform, in fact the name “hub” was suggested by one of the users there. So there is no conspiracy to take advantage of homeless situation of aspirants. In fact pizzza was gagged by quest, he felt so bad, was disheartened and created the hub with motivational support from many people who are subscribed to IGP. This is something he was kind of forced to do it, IASmocks could flourish by word of mouth in future, he could continue guiding people here on forum and so practically there was no need for him to create the hub and put his money, time on this. It will take years to grow.
Regarding Hub using email for login, well brother some method has to used for login, right? It can be mobile-otp based or simply using email id and password or facebook login (which is nothing but using email id only). Hub uses email id based method, anybody can create fake email and login but getting a fake mobile number is not easy for anyone. Hub is not asking for mobile numbers and its a good thing for so many people. Let me know if any other login method is there, I might be unaware of it.
Regarding why pizzza was allowed to promote IASmocks, he has answered it already. He is not just any user, who created profile today and suddenly started spamming or having any promotional signature. He has contributed enough to the community; he has established his credentials to have any signature he desired. People know him, that’s why they joined him. That will not be the case for any new user.
If you have seen how Hub works, you will not ask such questions. It is way ahead than this forum when it comes to ethics and transparency. That’s why I have joined it. You are the owner of your data, you can delete your comments, edit it and even delete your profile. So many features are there like instant chatting, perfectly organized categories/topics, better interface than quest, grievance support, separate place for bakar, you can contact the administrator there easily unlike forum where root/mods will take 2-3 days to respond and that too not necessarily (you keep wondering why nobody respond to your legitimate question) basically many features which forum lacked are there, and you will see forum quest copying its ideas to survive in the future. Ultimately good for the community.
Hub in terms of Transparency- We users are the one who are framing rules at hub, idea is to make a vibrant community, allowing people to speak, no gagging, which is free from dictatorship or tughlaqi farmans. When it comes to IASmocks being promoted there on Hub. Brother Hub and IASmocks both are creation of pizzza and most of the current members are IGP students. So from the beginning its open in the public domain that pizzza and IASmocks are same, pizzza and Hub are same, so no concealment, no hidden agenda, truth in public domain, nobody saying hub and IASmocks are different, so people can choose wisely. I call it being transparent, admitting the truth, so respect. However in case of Forum it is different, people keep saying forum and academy are different, but we oldies at least know that its our Mota bhai who runs the show here on forum and on forum academy. So why conceal this? If they want to launch courses, be a coaching, be it, but have the guts to accept that yes I run such courses, no need to project as saint. If community helped academy to come up, at least they could keep the prices affordable, but they did not and never will.
Hub in terms of ethics- I have a belief that whatever money will be generated in future through commercial ads, will be used to keep the prices of course of IASmocks as low as possible. I find it very ethical. At least somebody could come up with such ethical thought in this market. Who gives refund ? I haven’t found anybody in years who message people for refunds and also giving a window of 7 days!
