@mrxplek But i dont think US has already given priority country status under 301 but there are talks. And plagiarism ? Are you trying to say alleged IPR violations? because in that case i'd rather not go with the word plagiarism. Please confirm.
it was my mistake i thought they already did it. yeah i meant IPR violations. i wasnt able to find a word which would satisfy all the definitions like piracy,generic drugs so i used the term plagiarism.
in the cold war era India's policy of non-alignment served it well as it had to resolve its domestic problems and that non-alignment(which was actually non-neutral too) prevented it from getting embroiled in the big nation's superpower games , so it can focus on issues in its territory but things have changed from the past and this policy of non-alignment could very well be suicidal , and to analyze the peculiar situation we would have to look into certain facts : -russia and china are much more important to india (also to counter the US footprint in asia) for its strategic concerns but US has also in the last decade proved itself to be of great importance to india in both economic and strategic arena, -us although promised russia of no more inclusion of east europian nations in nato but has been doing so since the disintegration of ussr and this is annoying russia , the very thought of crimea (at its boundary) being another us-europe ally is haunting russia as it is not good for its strategic concerns and may well make it vulnerable in foreseeable future, -India can't take sides as both the parties are too much important for India but it can use its diplomatic skills in ensuring a prolonged dialogue to prevent the cold war like situation and if required must involve other insternational forums and nations as well because another round of cold war will certainly pull india as it is no longer non-aligned and if it tries to remain so then it will be faced with isolation (or lowered support from both parties) - Kashmir issue has nothing to do with this situation so better not involve it , -In this nuclear world chances of both , war and survival after war , is almost null therefore it is not gonna happen in near future rather economic strategical measures are used now a days to get what you want .
