One thing that has been evident in 2013 mains is GS can't be a differentiator . Optional , interview marks , essay played the most important role .
do you think essay and paper 4 coaching can increase my mains score by, let's say , 50 marks ? How will be RoI on it .....

And one more query .... What do you think of vision ias main evaluation criteria ? is it satisfactory or is it too random just like UPSC GS paper 2 evaluation ?

I haven't joined anything yet and don't plan to join any either. I'm currently looking for essay answersheets of toppers from coaching centres. I'll use them to get an idea about what exactly the approach ought to be like. Rest is dependent on your writing and time-management skills.

Practice should be the main target as far as essays are concerned. GS should provide you with ample fodder material.

@veni_vedi_vici I have always thought of return on Investment and it has had disastrous effects in academics and but not in economics.On a serious note, Do not take any chance. Even if you loose interview or finals by 4 marks, there should be no regrets as you did everything you could. Atleast join a test series.
