Is it me or you guys are also having confidence issues especially in paper 1 ( prelims ) ? I feel my preparation is up to the mark and my mocks have went well but still not satisfied .
your sub concious mind knows answer of those mcqs... u just take care of reading, yr subconcious mind will deal with those bitche**... ps--only applicable to paper 1. confidence is must in paper 2.

I generally refrain from commenting on such threads but I think you are blowing things out of proportion Dude See it objectively it's just a competitive paper with a cut off You just need to make the cut i.e. cut off ( generally 40-50% of total marks of the paper) focus your energy in ensuring that you could clear the cut offs on any given day That's all you could and that's all which needs to be done
why I am being harsh being there done that it sucks if someone goes into that trap one will underperform on the D-day when most of the players will be playing their A-game
what i feel after giving so many test papers is that at the end of exam i am only sure of 10-15qs rest are calculated guesses or wild ones too....(its like yaar padha to tha par yaad ni aaraha he)....i think with adequate no of revisions and good command over ca before pre one can restore confidence...till then just practice
@Missionupsc bhai mera bhi kuch aisa hi haal hain..but everyone who has cleared civils go through the same process..the difference between the toppers and those who could'nt clear is only mental toughness (Assumption-for people with more or less equal preparation) especially when the exam is approaching..
being nervous is normal as we have already invested 1000s of hrs in to the exam but now is a time for being mentally tough so as to crack the nut..I have promised myself not to allow emotions get over me till the time exam is over..atb >-
