Can someone explain the different versions of haralambos? I read above dat some version has examples as early as Arab spring. I did coaching from upendra gaur sir. So i only read whatever photocopy he suggested. I dont know which version it is. Please help
Look, If you do not have any Haralambos yet, then go for Blue Book. It is more contemporary.
The order would be:
NCERT>Haralambos>IGNOU>Ritzer
Most of all is interpretation though. If you cab understand and grasp it, any book will get you 200+
Thanks. I have already given two mains with socio. I read haralambos photocopy which was suggested by upendra sir. It had no contemporary case studies. So, I wud love to read this blue one if it can make my answers better. Do u suggest that I sud read it as my only purpose is to get gud case studies for my answers?
Ofcourse, since you have already read the photocopy then go for case studies. Gaining an extra edge with case studies will really help.
One more thing... How contemporary are the case studies? Can u give some examples. And dis blue one is worth Rs. 700-800. Right? Cos I am seeing a much expensive one too online, must be the foreign version. Old haralambos has quite old studies.
