Well, my friend was in the core team that lobbied for CSAT removal. So he has contacts with these groups. I didn't ask him who all are in the core team now but he told me that last year also everyone was very positive of extra attempts. So while there is an expectation of positive news, they will not confirm until UPSC itself confirms this. They have got support from ABVP and RSS and are trying the lobbying route to get their demands.
The various bits of news around are all leaked news of what might happen. The core team doesn't want to take a chance - of something going awry at the very last moment, so is holding their cards close to their chests. He asked me to wait for 2-3 days. So I guess we should wait.
I called Manu Jha a troll because he keeps creating fake profiles and abuses posters here (and not all who said that we may get extra attempts).
I think we all should not get over-excited and wait. There is a massive protest planned should anything fall out now.

I think sumit dalal and ashwini shankar are trolls too.wats ur take?btw i know manu jha as a hard working and honest guy who has contacts in pmo and there has been a deliberate attempt by few people like ashwini shankar to defame him.but for me and many good ppl of movt he is a hero.those who deserve abuse will always be abused. As far as attempts are concerned shukla n raman alongwith rajnish are lobbying .others are not doing anyhting productive but defaming honest and highly capable guys like manu jha...get to know the person well pathak dalal n ashwini hv not even an iota of semblance of power to even brush him aside...these morons troll..

But if you are going to abuse people for questioning your information then I am going to call you a troll. Read his reponses to me. Ashwini shankar even trued to create a wedge between nitin gaur n manu jha but he ds nt know all his monetary issues hv been well settled but this guy calls everyone to defame manu jha.such a cheap fellow this ashwini .n pathak aur dalal ..why u all want to create a hell for urself..stay away from him.

Chill bro..there are better things to do.abhidi is too abusive even in real life.jha shared d screenshot where abhidi urf ashwini shankar told he is abroad but he was in mrn last evening.anyway his abuses will be met very aptly. As far as nilotpal is concerned abhidi trying to take his name n abusing jha is an equally heinous crime. So better do sme creative work.n jha being sad ...lolwa...he is above these petty things.he could be a good source and resource.after who gives 50k to friends widoit even a cheque.but u all defamed him and will pay.
