  • @spirate @vrteja , i'm doing

    paper 1: Part A: munirathnam ; Part B: brain tree and p.nath;
    paper 2: munirathnam notes with nadeem hasnin;

    is ember and ember must look into book?

    moreover, XAXA committee report expected by march 2014 would give good updation required for tribal part.

    @vrteja I agree, Nadeem Hasnain's Tribal Anthro and Indian Anthro are good supplements for Paper 2. I read those. But we can't fully rely on these either. We need BT + Hasnain + internet for topics like ethnoarchaeology. I hear Sosin's notes are good as well.

    @aspirantbloggers Ember and Ember is not required. It is not structured as per the exam and is more like a general textbook for anthro. But it is interesting to read through for the first time to get an idea of the scope of anthropology. Some points from Ember can be used for value addition.
  • @spirate i have brain tree tribal notes but felt it was too bulky. I will go through.

    How about answer writing part and collecting case studies? :)

    @spirate

    If possible , Please share your evaluated answersheet of Target test series.
  • @spirate : even i heard that sosin's nptes are gd but couldn't get hold of them. You have any idea where they are available??
  • edited December 2013
    @vrteja , i felt sosin's notes is un-compiled. they seem complicated to read and even to convert to answers. Braintree is as per syllabus, munirathnam as per Q n A.

    @spirate @vrteja : can we stick as a team and keep update of relevant newspaper articles related to anthropology ? this helps for your interview preparation and our mains2014 preparations. what do you say?
  • @aspirantbloggers I don't plan on giving any more attempts, so all I can do is dole out advice :)
  • @spirate oh! sure bro. :) prepare well for interview :)
  • @aspirantbloggers : I am fine with it :)

  • @vrteja , can you please give some idea on answer writing part?
