    You are correct bro. One more way for it is
    n^2+n^3 which again comes out as (n+1)*n^2

    Try this one. A good one. From one of the previous CATs.

    Consider a cylinder of height h cms and radius r= 2/pi cms (pi as in 3.142857 waala pi). A string of a certain length when wound on its cylindrical surface, starting at point A and ending at point B, gives a maximum of n turns (in other words, string's length is the minimum length required to wind n complete turns).

    (See the figure attached).

    Find Vertical spacing between two consecutive turns.

    Options -
    a) h/n
    b) h/(underroot n) (i.e. h/(n^1/2))
    c) h/n square (i.e. h/(n^2))
    d) Cannot be determined with this data (yayyyy).

    Don't be scared of the language. Trust me aassaan sawaal hai. Issi liye yahaan post kiya.

    Ummm.....I guess that is not right.
    Try imagining as if you are trying to unwind the string by holding its one end and rolling it until you reach the other end.

    Wowwwww. That's insane job. I don't know if your answer's right or not.
    But the question was of a logic one. I mean the kind you see in aptitude exams.
