@mango_dolly That is gud info.... Thanks... Do we need to call the hospitals in which our medical was conducted to know status of medical... Last time dopt put a list of candidates whose medical was incomplete along with dates to report at hospital... http://persmin.gov.in/ais1/ProcResultsCSE.asp?YearCSE=2012&hSort=5
yes ! RML number is mentioned above. If you had your medical in some other hospital then look for their PBX number, call them and ask to transfer call to "medical board" of that hospital ! Every govt. hospital it seems has a "medical board".
Hello Seniors, Can any of you provide me with a list of imp websites for current affairs- with good content, based on the UPSC point of view. Kindly spend few minutes of your precious time on this post. Thanking you in advance
@dixitsmriti7 : last year irs-it(90)+ irs-ce(76) for general took the closing rank to 522 and this year with IRS-IT(77) + IRS-CE(117) we could well expect an additional 30-40 ppl getting accommodated in CE . My prediction is it could go around 550-560 rank this time . All the best
1. DoPT will 'try' to complete all eligible service allocations on/before 31-July.
2. Medical reports for many candidates are still incomplete. incomplete and/or inconclusive - all medical test done on designated date, but based on the results, respective hospital doctors have suggested follow-up medical tests(for few cases), pending which the medical test report is marked 'incomplete'.
19 names of incomplete medical report has been received by DoPT from RML on the day I spoke to the DoPT. Similar list from other hospitals are awaited. DoPT is in process of writing letters to all such candidates whose medical report is incomplete. Having said this, candidates SHOULD NOT wait for the letter, to then take action. They should suo moto contact their designated hospitals and inquire about their medical report status and take follow-up actions, if necessary. Ram Manohar Lohia(RML) Contact number: 011-2340-4237 / Mr. Ravi
3. As per rule 8/AIS, it is not a choice but an obligation on DoPT to provide exemptions. So exemptions will be provided this year as well. Discussion is now going in DoPT on formalities of providing exemptions. There is a proposal to exempt everyone who has cleared CSM 2013 and have applied for CSP 2014. So discussion in this respect is going on b/w UPSC and DoPT to dig former's database and pull out such names. However this is just in proposal phase and no concrete decision has been taken by DoPT as yet.
4. Foundation course will start from 1-Sept this year.
5. Candidates who have not yet submitted their attestation form(for whatever reason), need not worry. It won't affect their service allocation, as respective cadre controlling authority viz; MHA(IPS), MoF(IRS), DoPT(IAS) etc will do the necessary antecedent checks before joining.
@Hello@dixitsmriti7@mango_dolly@Neanderthal@descorpio86 Any idea on.. 1. whether the list from these 3 hospitals is final or more names can be added later? when to expect the list from the remaining 2 hospitals? 2. what is the difference between 'completion of medical' and 're-medical'?when to expect the list for re-medical? 3. what is the tentative date for final service allocation...is it after ALL checks are completed for ALL candidates or those who may be clear are allotted first (or is it rank wise/service wise/department wise)?
1. More names will be added, some of the people have been left out. The other two hospitals' list will come out early next week. 2. Some candidates could not complete all the tests and hence they have to 'complete' their medical tests. Those referred to the medical boards will have to get their re-medical done. Re-medical list should be out soon too- can't give you a date, apologies. 3. As mango_dolly said, July 31st seems to be the current buzz. Keep the coefficient of variability of a week. The list which comes out has ALL the candidates with their services. Some of the successful candidates this time around who are already in service and are not getting a 'better' one due to their ranks are writing to the DoPT of their own accord and asking the department not to allocate them any service. This is a very noble gesture on their part as it will check the post-list declaration confusion. Also, as I've heard, service allocation for the first 180-200 candidates will be over by Thursday/Friday this coming week.
Let me know if you need any other information, I'll try to help as much as I can.
